Vincent and Cupcakes by Amelia Woo

Recently the webcomic site Drunk Duck was running an Indie Go Go campaign looking to raise funds for some much needed site improvements. Drunk Duck is where I got my start with webcomics, so naturally I wanted to contribute. I saw that they were offering a commission reward from a comic/graphic artist named Amelia Woo who I was previously unfamiliar with. I thought well if I can contribute as well as get a drawing of a certain skunk, why not? When Amelia contacted me and asked what I’d like, I basically told her just a drawing of Vincent. Didn’t need to be a full body pic, just from the waist up is fine. Any outfit any pose. I didn’t want to ask for anything too complicated, after all it was very low priced and, as I assume she donated her time for the campaign so she’s not actually profiting from this. But she actually took the time to read Chunky Skunk and based her sketches off the first chapter of the comic. I’m really amazed that she put so much work into this. I love all three of the sketches she sent, I asked for the first one for now with an offer to send her additional money to finish the other two. She’s in the middle of work but told me she may be able to do them in a couple months, I really look forward to it. They’re beautiful drawings.
